The Biggest City Park in Bulgaria to be in Kardzhali

УStudents and teachers from Secondary school "Yordan Yovkov” attended the groundbreaking of the biggest city park on the Balkans – Arpezos–North in the Bulgarian town of Kardzhali made by the mayor of Kardzhali engineer Hasan Azis.
Celebration was opened with the song Delyo Haidutin. Guests - Member of parliament Tsveta Karayancheva, regional Governor of Kardzhali Ivanka Taushanova, landscape architects of the project Gancho Bakalov, representatives of the contractor TVB, builders, engineers, many students from the schools, mayors and chairmen of municipal councils from neighboring municipalities and citizens.

The first construction phase will include the building of zones, sectors and alleys. The park will include a children’s zone with three playgrounds and water features – a big fountain, two cascades, a small round fountain and a waterfall.
The second phase of the project will include the communal center of the park. It will be designed as an area welcoming and seeing off the visitors coming from the center of the town of Kardzhali through the City Garden to the area by the river bank and Arpezos-South.
The park will also have a summer theater with 1,300 seats around which there will be areas where people can go during the intervals.
