
A few days agowereceived the results of the selection of candidates for “Manager for a Day”, an initiative of Junior Achievement Bulgaria, conducted forthetenthyear under the patronage of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Bulgaria and the U.S. Embassy. Students and schoolsfrom all the country involved in the pre-section. After personal meetings with the contenders and getting acquainted with their written submissions on the topic "Why I want to participate in the initiative?”the committee invited NurginMehmed -11th A grade, Mezhlya Hassan -11th B grade, Gergana Nacheva -12th A gradeand Dzheylyan Kodzhabash – 12th B grade. The initiative is held annually in 100 countries worldwide. Our representatives went to the capital, where theywill participate in a meeting with 45 students from 12 Bulgarian schools. The program includes: meeting at the U.S. Embassy; opening of “Manager for a Day " and participation in the offices of leading companies. On March 30th at the Sheraton Hotel will be held student conference “Jumpstart”.”Manager for a Day "aims to establish and maintain a constructive relationship between business, practical training and local government, to encourage an entrepreneurial attitude and behavior of young people to forward their personal values of Self-initiativeand leadership. The Initiative includes both senior leaders and distinguished executives from all areas of business and public life. Our girls and boys will have a chance to interact with those leaders who give rise to career development of thousands of students worldwide. For the first time this year, the U.S. Embassy support the programfinancially, assuming the cost of travel and stay of groups and thus makes it more accessible.
